Academics

The academic year is the year during which the children are in attendance at school, extends normally from April to March.

(a) Aim

The aim at FLORENCE DALE is to give a sound general education and to prepare pupils through the C.B.S.E. Examination. The curriculum is modified periodically to meet the changing requirement of the time.

(b) Classes and Sections:

Normally boys are taken in class Nursery, K.G. and class I after they have completed 3,4, and 5 year of age, on the basis of their performance in an entrance test, in lower classes, care is taken to see that the foundation of English, Mathematics and Hindi are properly laid, and every efforts made to teach pupil to make good use of language in different sets according to ability and progress in the subject concerned.

(c) Hours:

Work is done mainly in periods of 40 minutes duration, keeping into consideration the age level of the pupils.

(d) Recreations:

The school provides ample opportunity for the all round development of the child and has sufficient space for play-ground (both outdoor and indoor games).
